Thanks Brian, those first two phone# are the ones we have tried with no success. @ RodKnock, I've seen nothing from either of those moderator's too. I guess we can try (cobraman@ix) next and see if we get a answer, from that Email. I still think the Facebook route is our best bet. Thanks Gentlemen, Cheers Tom.

Default How do we keep this site functioning

Think that I mentioned contacting vBulletin before. They may have some contact info that is useful. If not, and they know that there is someone interested in taking over the site, they may let them know when and if it becomes an issue. They would probably like to have anyone take it over so they can continue to get an income that they may otherwise not.

Just for the heck of it I tried the Portal Home page today and it loaded. 1st time in months. Granted the script errors are still present.

That's because the rest of the natural world gave up on it.

Apparently only one person in the world can hit that page successfully at a time.

If having trouble with the portal, post the following:
Browser (is it the most up to date version)
Operating system (all updates and patches installed)
Any custom plug in's with your browser?

For those using IE (Internet Explorer), time to updated to Microsoft Edge
For those using anything under Windows 10, again, time to upgrade
MAC users, make certain your browsers are the current items

Before doing anything else once you have confirmed your software is up to date, log out of club cobra, close your browser, and remove all browser and system cache. log back in and try the home page again.

Seems to work for most who have asked for my assistance in the past.

Hope you find this helpful.

Bill S.

The loading of "portal home" worked for me, although the loading took about a minute or more.

The blessing in disguise here is that it has curtailed new "how to" threads started by Patrick. And we haven't seen a small scruffy dog in a pic supplied by Patrick in years. What was her/his name? Daisy? Scruffy? Evan?

Ellie. And she's started to slow down a bit, and didn't seem to shake last year's "winter weight," and now a new winter is just around the corner. She still hangs out with me under the car though.

We actually got a pup a few months ago. I was not involved in the naming process, but her name is Harley. And no, we don't own any motorcycles.

She's a rock star when we go out. Oh man, if I were single.....At some point, when she calms the heck down, I'm hoping she'll hang out with me at the gym, since that is where I spend all my free time. Certainly not the garage.

Your wife probably named her after Harley Quinn. You know, the Joker's girlfriend.

For knowledge, what year did CC start, and by who, Brent ?
At which year had the most members ?

It would be a shame if CC closed down before I croak !

Each year had more members than the previous year.
