Hi Patrick, any idea on how many members ? I know it's been advertised as the largest.
As far as I can prevent that, that's hard to say with my illness. I have my third neck surgery on Monday, then the day turkey I'm having a Spinal Cord Stimulator implant done.

If you go to the member list Club Cobra - Members List you will quickly see that that there are a shi*load of "bot members," dead members, and drift-away members. What you really want to know is "How many members are active and have checked the site in the last, say, month?" If you had admin rights, you could run that query in two seconds. But before the admin did that, they should first spend their time removing the same script error that has plagued the main page for the last six months. Or, if they can't muster the time to do that, just check in with the membership and say "I'm not dead, I'm still around, and I do actually care about this site."

I'm always here. Missed your post (end of the page on my screen). I don't see a PM from you looking for me. As I've explained numerous times over the years, for various reasons, I am cloaked. I do this to catch trolls and fights that folks ***** about without ever PMing me or reporting it via the one touch button. Other folks make a career about *****ing about this place and constantly telling us how they know how to fix things...some for well over a decade.
You have no idea what I do to try to keep the place clean...all I get are complaints about the few that slip through. Last night, a member made a snide remark about whether the reporting button for spam still worked. I removed the spam in less than a minute, and wrote the member back and let him know it does. It does work...much better than *****ing about it in a thread.
Also, as I've said numerous times, CW hasn't been around here moderating for years. I've been it. I'm not the administrator. I pass on concerns to Brent, and he fixes things but most of you never know that, nor do you acknowledge it. Much more fun to just keep *****ing. Brent's been on Facebook for years...very easy to PM there. But again, more fun to ***** here I guess.
Happy Thanksgiving, and please stay safe.

Since this is the 'perfect day' to gives Thanks, I too would like to give that to (You Jamo, and Brent) many Thanks for this site, without it, as I've started many times, I never would have been able to finish the Classic Roadster, or know the history of my JCF. Plus the friends I've come to know (Around the world) is just icing on the cake. As a P.S. Could you look at the Portal Page, I can never get to that anymore, it just times out, Again many Thanks to the rest of the Gang, on this Thanksgiving Day, Cheers TommyRot.

I have been able to get in through the "front door" for 4 days now. Still see the junk scripts in between the photos and the sale photos. I think my problem was due to my computer. I had my tech guy go through everything due to other features not working correctly since I was upgraded to "10". The next day I was able to log on normally.
My Thanks to Jamo, MM, and others who have kept CC going through thick and thin, Hope those working on it can come up with a solution, and I for one would not be adverse to a "subscription" type of funding for this site.
I know my rebuilding of my Cobra would not have been possible without CC.

Also if someone buys this... when switching to new more modern and supported forum software be sure to switch to the secure link ie https. Browsers are starting to whine about non secure li es with passwords. I have had a password snagged due to this.
