'65 Mark III ac Cobra: So apparently there's a "slight" problem concerning master cylinder accessibility because it's tucked under the fender. Being my engine will be producing little vacuum I went with a hydroboost assist (driven off the power steering pump). Mine uses a cast iron GM style master cylinder with the metal top and two spring steel hold-downs that swing to the rear and to the front to remove the cover. My son (a mechanical engine with 5 CNC machines) will be making me an aluminum cover with 2 1/8" NPT x -3AN 90 degree fittings screwed into the cover. I was seeing remote reservoirs on the internet for way too much money for what they offered, so I purchased a 1977 Corvette aluminum master cylinder by Carquest (Advance Auto) part #MCA39567. The cost was just over $40 (used online discount coupons). I screwed in 2 fittings to adapt to a -3AN steel braided brake line to run to the master. It is the "perfect" remote reservoir. Two brackets will mount it to the 3/4" rail that runs from the firewall to the rad support. Yeah, my son made those too! It's nice to have help. Any questions please feel free to ask.
