That's my fear. I can certainly understand why a street beast owner would say I have no idea who the manufacturer was.

The few FFR I saw didn't come with fenders and running boards.
I read on a website of one of the manufacturers that their running boards could not be stepped on. They were ornamental I guess.

Bracing could be added under the step point.

I am pretty sure the Streetbeast version was 7/8 size, not the same dimensional size as the original. They seemed to do that on almost all their cars except the Cobra. If you could maybe get a measurement across a door or something and compare it to an original, this might tell you whether it is a Streetbeast.
I found a website called something like "Discontinued kit car manufacturers" or something like that. There were a few places that had a 34 Ford kit. One was in Ohio and another in Michigan. They list Streetbeast on the site and there is a note under the thread from somebody stating they have all the jigs and molds for the 34 Ford. His email is listed. He might be able to tell you also.

Mr Bruce - A&C is interesting. I have an A&C Cobra. They do color gel-coat. That car was either painted underneath or the gel-coat has color in it. It looks like colored gel-coat to me. My Cobra does not have color in the gel-coat under the car, however that my be an option. I cannot see enough of the frame to say it is similar.
Joyridin - Thanks for the information.

I remembered that Unique Motorcars also makes a nice Ford hot rod, but I checked and its a '36 Cabriolet.

A&C body pictures looks just like it, but there frame does not look like the under carriage pictures I posted above. The car above definitely does not have the narrowed rear frame for wide tires, but that is just one option. It does not have coil over shocks. It has ford lower control arms. It does not have the K design at the drive shaft. I don't think the frame is standard A&C. However I understand people can make changes and who knows what A&C frame was 10 or 20 years back.

I think B&B split up, if memory serves. I was on Mcgill's website. The frame is closer to the pictures above, but it looked to have heavier rails.
I cannot say anything for sure. I sent contact info from the website, and never heard anything back. If the seller doesn't contact me then I guess none of this matters. I would like to go look at it.

Well it turned out the website is a total scam.
I traced the car down. It sold on ebay months ago for $34,000. The scam site had it listed for $22K.
If I were king for a day, I would order a long slow gruesome death to all scammers, and put a bounty dead or alive on their heads.
