CSX 4786 with SOHC on Epay
Motorized this way, they don"t come up on epay that often

I have no affiliation, I just think it must be something else to change spark plugs

Sheesh.
With ALL those pics you'd think there would be more than ONE of the SOHC?!?!?!

They don't even say whether it was a fiberglass or aluminum body.

It appears to be aluminum if you look at the door sill but not sure.

Lots of tell tales for glass.
Must be a handful to drive.

see spdbrake's link, 5000 mi in 2012,
I have noticed on some other 4000 cars some very accurate glasswork duplicating an aluminum car and I see that on this car.
I believe if it were aluminum the seller would not overlook that #1 selling point !!!

Hmm, 64 miles since built in 2008. That’s a bit more than 5 miles driven ever year. Maybe it is a handful to drive.

It's a glass car, as all sn's 4750 and above are glass.
Great looking car. You can just adjust the rear suspension to lower the car.
Fomr my memory, I think all original cammer's are all iron, and maybe on the heavy side? As opposed to Boss 429's, where all originals had aluminum heads.

That's true, you can adjust the rear, I would have thought that would have been done, to sell the car, the car just doesn't present well with the rear so high, meaning, lower selling price if it sells, as not everyone knows the height can be adjusted.

That, or still working out the new build "bugs".....
Or, the car was built as a "what if we do this" type of build for an owner who has it up on a pedestal as the centerpiece of his or her collection. Having bought in to the original "investment quality" advertising of that time period.
We may never know.
Regardless, it's a unique build in it's own right, would love to have a chance to drive that one and see how it compared to Peters old SOHC powered ERA.

Anthony is correct it’s definitely a glass car.
Looks like they could’ve done a little better job on the foot box modification and the throttle pedal. but still nice car.

If you know where to look it's easy to tell a glass car even if they put aluminum trunk, doors and hood on car. My feet are to big to drive that car so if I was interested in car it would be to pull engine and replace with big block , sell car and use engine for something else. You would think they would have cleaned the car before pictures. Be interesting to see what sells for with the problems going on now.

Exactly my thought in my earlier statement about Peter's SOHC ERA.
