Front Brake Calipers
I have an EM 427SC built in 1993 that I want to change the two piston front brake calipers to four piston calipers. The car has a Mustang II front end with 11” disk rotors. The problem is the caliper mounting bracket is not a stock Mustang II bracket. The caliper mounting holes are 5 1/2” apart instead of the standard 5 1/4”. Does anybody know of a source for a four piston caliper that has a 5 1/2” distance between the mounting holes?
I have checked with usual sources like Wilwood, Aerospace Components, Summit Racing etc. they only have 5 1/4” fitment.

Time to throw your current brackets away and get new standard 5.25" brackets or a complete conversion with calipers and radial-mount adapters.

Agreed. Buy a set of Wilwood brakes complete with mounting brackets, rotors, calipers, pads, etc and move on. Don't forget to buy 2 pairs of speed bleeders as well - 1 pair for each front wheel.
