I have a steel scattershield ready to fit!

Do you know what actually gave way first?

Cheers,
Glen

I agree, not a hard launch but second and third, OH BABY ! In Lubbock, Texas close to the Buddy Holly Museum. An Suv of Lubbock's P D pulls up next to me and wants to trade for awhile. I smiled and of course said no. Did not want a ticket for loud pipes. He then wanted to go out of town where he could chase me and then trade and i chase him. A Good laugh between us.

If you said yes to him that would be the story of your life!

(I would have said no too).

Us it. I would strongly recommend a steel scattershield on anything with over 400 HP. I had a clutch go on a '67 Mustang years ago, had a steel bell and it saved my floorboards. Clutch came out in lots of pieces too, but not near the carnage this one did.

The more I think about it, the more it looks like it was the clutch plate that gave way first.
