Looking for a specific rear lower control arm

Hello I’m new here. I have a 66 Shelby cobra kit car and a rear lower control arm snapped. Total shock. Anyway - I can’t find it anywhere searching online. Any chance someone recognize it?

Does the two rod ends connect to your solid axle and one link to the car's frame? If so it looks like someone tried to make a 4-link into a 2-link. Lots of torque being applied to tube as it becomes a one tube. It probably wasn't curved when 1st built.
A 4-link looks like this. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=...AAAAAdAAAAABAK Of course this is all conjecture on my part and you could have an IRS, etc... |
Can you post up a pic of the undamaged side and a second wider angle view of the rear suspension in general, to help. Knowing whose kit that your replica is built from would be helpful also.
In a worst case scenario where the original kit supplier is out of business, you can always take the surviving good link from the other side to a chassis shop and have them fabricate a replacement from larger stronger tube and do it for both sides before the other side gives up the ghost also. Ed |
