That must be based on some chassis like a Miata or something but I sure can't recognize it. Sort of like the offspring of inbreeding or something.

It's got a Ford badge on it

Plenty of potential for wider wheels and tyres. (I'm looking - hard - on the positive side)

A lot going on there! Austin Healey, Jag XK 140, Karmann Ghia, Pontiac 400 and Cobra nosepiece. Definitely someone's nostalgic wet dream but it's actually kind of cool. I'd drive it!

It looks kind of like a C1 Corvette with the side caves filled in and the back end rounded off. Look at the windshield curve and the exhaust pipes.

It is based off a 1997 Crown Vic. I am sure it handles like a dream!

Seller's description
I want to sell my departed husbands Ford Convertible Cobra kit car. Used the chassis of a wrecked ‘97 Crown Vic police car with an interceptor. 4.6 liter engine. This is a nice looking, sporty car!! It has very low mileage and very fast. It has been shown at many parades and is a BIG attention grabber!!

$4900 really does not seem too crazy. I'd say you could drive it for the summer and sell it and make a profit. Not for me but just saying ....not a bad price for what it is.

The story on how that body, and the chassis-up build, was done would be priceless! ☺

I first thought holographic remake of the Elvis movie Spinout, for the Cobra in the water scene double. I then realized that this seamless amalgamation of so many car styles/themes may also be part amphibian car too and float! Brent

Probably would drive fine. Looks like a fifties kit car body. The tiny wheels look ridiculous. The steering wheel resembles a miata nardi.
