I would have added power steering and either a lower rear gear ratio (currently 3.73) or went with the TKX 5-speed with a .68 5th gear (currently have the .81 5th gear).

Just a bit too high rpm for crusing around 30-40 mph, that range is right in between gears or hitting the highway.

I have power steering and power brakes and, while my rear axle ratio is 2.75:1, the 1:1 fifth gear in my transmission gives about 2,700 RPM @ 70 MPH. I'm okay with that.

I'm getting old and have been in a cast a while. AOD is looking really good right now.
