I.D. please
We are attempting to help a local appraiser identify the make of this Cobra replica. It is registered under a 1967 Mustang Convert 200 CID six-cylinder VIN as was common years ago. The link to the pictures and description are here: https://mailtrack.io/trace/link/80eb...76ba2c57bb9853
All help is appreciated, thanks.

That looks like a Shell Valley to me but I don't know enough about the details of the frame or steering setup to confirm that.

Looks rather like a Shell Valley to me.

It is long wheel base. That narrows the field.
There are only a few that build or built 96" cars.

Shape of rear fender coming into the rocker, pronounced rear fender lip, live rear axle, Flaming River steering column, hood and trunk lid hinge attachment mouldings, center console under dash, shape of rear cockpit surround behind the seats and a few other details rule out most of the other popular live-axle brands and point to it being an Antique & Collectibles (A&C) Replica. Not 100% sure on the chassis details, but going by the body/interior cues, that is my pick.

Comparing it to my Shell Valley.....there are similarities in the front frame rails and supports, also the shape of the foot boxes. The shape of the trunk and it’s interior are very similar to mine as is the dash, back wall and interior layout. I would say it’s a first generation Shell Valley or MidStates.
I would have to see more of the underside (frame rails, side rails) to offer a better opinion.

As stated above, appears to be an early Shell Valley or Mid States to me. Leaning towards early Mid State as it used those funky tailights.

I have to go with Bill S. on Mid-States too, as in those funky taillights, but also the rear fender shape. Just my guess. TommyRot.

Add to the above - the horizontal "V-shaped" front frame extensions going to the front bumper support and the horizontal crossmember aft of the radiator location:
Leading edge of rear fenders- Neither Shell Valley nor Midstates look like this
90% sure it's an A&C. 99% sure it's not a Midstates or Shell Valley. I could be wrong, of course - I seem to recall the really old Shell Valleys had an odd looking rear fender leading edge, but not all of the other details I've noted.

A&C is located in the Buffalo area and the seller is in a suburb of Buffalo, so it is possible.

That it's an A&C that is. 105.235% sure it's not a Midstates or Shell Valley. (Rounding off to the nearest 3 decimal points, otherwise I'd be more precise)

I'm 100% convinced that I have no idea (what manufacturer it is )
I do, however, have a comment/question .....the front wheels and tyres don't appear to be wider than normal, so does the extra wide front track rule in/out any of the posted suggestions?
Cheers
Glen
