Of course in France all cars are feminine ("La voiture" .) or racing car (Vuiture de course) . "They" must hate that!

So... big proboscis, flared body and scoops ...to cover the muscles ....and then there's the vents and the big pipes
Then there's loud and smelly, drinks too much (and that's just my Alfa) ....doesn't apply to any ladies I know
Still not seeing the light
Cheers!

Back in the oil boom days in northern Alberta, I met a few who fit that description perfectly!
I love refined, pretty and dainty as much as the next guy - they're like E-types and Maseratis. But you haven't lived until you've gotten it on with a cussing, bitumen slinging, moose hunting, tattooed, barroom brawling, beer drinking roughneck woman. They shine up surprisingly nicely once they scrub off the crude oil - the smell never completely goes away - and head out to the tavern after a 14 hour shift. They're tough, loud and don't take any crap; and if you're lucky and brave enough to take one for a ride and survive, you'll be sore and a bit shaken and smell faintly of petroleum yourself but your heart will be pounding and you'll be grinning from ear to ear thinking holy sh-t that was bonkers - can't wait to do it again.
Glen my friend - sounds like your life has been way too sheltered!

A wise man once said that objects of beauty, grace or speed, are usually referred to in the feminine gender.

A Cobra is a big purple veined hairy ball sac , end of story!!! But so is the battleship the Missouri “ The Fighting Mo” but it is still referred to as a fine lady!

Glen, just like the Ol'Alfa GTV Race Car, the same is true about the Cobra, My wife would say "Going in the garage to see your Mistress" Sort of sums it up right Mate Cheers TommyRot.

Well Tom, it's looking like I am definitely in the minority here, but that doesn't mean that I'm wrong
This is weird....now I'm quoting myself...

All I can say is that doesn't match any ladies that I know!
Cheers!

Well Patrick, I dunno .... OK, yes, I agree that I'm in the minority here.
However, what I can say is that the character and characteristics of Cobras in general do not in any way match any of the ladies I know
Cheers!

Glen, the way I see this, mine's not only a "Lady" but damn near the Perfect one She's as good looking as the first time we met (Maybe better), when we go out, she only has one drink ($80-90 High test, Thank you) maybe two if we're out all day. She never asks for anything I can't give her, I could go on & on but last but not least, when we're done, she doesn't ask if we can Cuddle & Talk TommyRot.

Tommy....I'm sitting here, reading your last comment
That's really nice that you and she are so happy together; I'm very happy for you both
Meanwhile, I'm thinking....I'm (lucky to be ) stuck with that cranky b@st@rd Luigi and his co-combatant, the Cobra.
Maybe we make Cobra replicas differently here in Aus.?
Cheers!

My VSE is definitely male. It is built with Race car parts to race car standards. It was built to intimidate and send chills up your spine...and with 500 hp carrying 2,000#, it does.

Great stuff, it's all reminding me of a song by the Kinks…she walks like a lady but talks like a man…Lola
Ok, let me work to clear thinks up here.
The Cobra is in a class by itself. It has all virtuous elements of she and he, no doubt, but it transcends gender identify. The Cobra is all things, and it is awesome, it is COBRA.
It is easy to be charmed into seeing it as pure feminine, that is part of the Cobras tricks and guile, snickering in the grass at our human descriptions, while taking great joy in the admiration it knows it deserves.
First there was man and woman, and they were good. Then there was Cobra, and it was awesome. Any mere mortal use of he or she is completely understandable, as an expression of just some of the virtues of the beautiful beast that is COBRA.
I sense the Cobra is laying low in the grass with a growl and hiss thinking of another song, let it be, let it be, whisper words of wisdom, let it be…as if the Cobra itself has spoken.
Now, I must admit, in a weak human moment occasionally, if anything, I lean toward she, such as she’s a beauty to a guy at a car show. However, I generally say things like, that Cobra’s a real beauty, the Cobra likes you, the Cobra rules, the Cobra this, the Cobra that, etc., etc.
Hopefully the Cobra gods are watching, and smiling, as I greatly fear otherwise…
(Have a great day in the Cobra world everyone!)
Brent
