Help ID this Cobra Kit
Hey Cobra Gang,
A person shopping for a Cobra here in Michigan contacted me to help ID this kit.
Unfortunately I am not able to recognize it.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

Not a B&B. The hood hinges would be wrong.

The center hood latch looks like a Classic Roadster, but the body looks like a 90" wheelbase. Maybe a 94.5 wheelbase ?? Chevrolet steering column (again CR) Gas cap in the right place for a CR. Hummmm....

I believe that is the first Cobra I've ever seen with a radio antenna.

I still stand by Midstates or early Shell Valley
Front and rear flares are dead giveaway
Low/flat hood scoop
Firewall and foot boxes (plus cable clutch setup)
Rear bulkhead nearly flush with upper bodywork.

It looks more like an NAF, North American Fiberglass, car than anything else.
I have a SHELL VALLEY and I have friends that have Midstates. Not those

My West Coast Cobra had a power antenna when I bought it. Key word is HAD. Antenna and stereo were removed long ago.

Here's a thread on radios and antenna placements on Cobra's. Period Radios.. Below is a photo of an original 427 cobra with a radio, Road & Track August 1983. For all of you, fretting over which steering wheel is the most accurate, well, here you go, doesn't get any more accurate then this!
