The prefix "dis" means unhappy or the opposite of pleased. i.e., disenchanted, not "enchanted". Displeased, i.e., not "pleased". Disinterested, not "interested".
So, if "disgruntled" means a customer is unhappy, should we want them to be "gruntled"?
