Default Lowest profile seat sliders you've found?

I'm not happy with my seat position. It's bolted to the floor, and of course it's fairly straight forward to simply re-dill the floor and move it. I'm thinking about getting a slider for it so that I can easliy try out a few different seat positions. I can always bolt the seat directly to the floor in that position after I find a position that works. Ideally I can just leave the slider in there permanently. However, I'm concerned about the added height that the slider introduces to the equation. I'm already having an issue with the distance between the top of my thigh and the bottom of the steering wheel. Part of that, I believe, is that the seat is too far forward, leaving my leg bent and my thigh higher than it should be. All that said, what's the lowest profile slider you guys know of, and appoximately how high is it? Where do I buy it? Thanks!

Yes, about 20 mm. Some seats allow you to sit between the slider rails.

You could consider reducing the padding/upholstery of your seat. I am 6.4" and have used "bomber" seats (similar to R-Model seats) without any padding or sliders.

With 16" steering wheel.

Seems though, you look for the best position for yourself, being shorter than I am.
Leave the sliders in then.

That sounds like a lot of trouble to go to when you can just unbolt the seat, slide it to where you think it might be better position, carefully try it out and then just drill new holes.
I have my driver's side seat mounted on a seat slider, and when it's all secured (slider to floor and seat to slider), the seat won't then slide.
I should add that I was very conscious of the need for accurate mounting of both the seat and the slider.... but even still - he no slide

Good luck!
Glen
