You'll need heatshields to pass NJ inspection, emissions is questionable, and of course it depends on which inspection station you normally go to.
You already found the Tri state club, it was started by a few of us way back in 2000, and is still going fairly well, even though some of us have moved out of the area, or are no longer with us.
