Wolf, you traitor
So, an RCR GT40?
Hmm, OK. We cover that here on Club Cobra.
So, some of us lose a bit of hair coverage, and we feel the need to transition to a car with a roof. That's not a bad 'upgrade' to avoid the sunburn, I suppose
Please post many details of the GT40 here, OK?
Cheers!
Glen

Yeah, not sure of the reasons but a lot of stuff is no sale on BaT right now. And some stuff is selling really low - wish I had some more garage space. I think your car with the high ticket options and care of build is worth every bit of 75 so hope you can work out something close to that. Good luck.

The market is down and people are trying to sell for last year's prices. Bat is pretty good at getting reserve close but I think the market is going down faster than their adjustments

Not too sure about the market as a whole going down, I recently (two weeks ago) had a qualified buyer make a cash offer on mine, it was above the OP's stated reserve, closer to the ask of my last listing for it.....Thankfully, not in a wrong state of mind, and politely turned it down....No longer stressed with what the future holds for us, or in need of additional garage space.

I learn so much from this forum, and also from BAT as well. And I try to avoid posting something during an auction that could alter the auction, so waited until after this transaction completed.
There were some comments, both here and on BAT, about the registration of this car in VT but no title. And being offered for sale elsewhere, I think maybe in MO. I will confess being confused by that situation. And others might have had their own questions about ability to title, register and insure the car in their home state as we occasionally see those issues here on the forum.
Something that might help a future buyer or seller. VT does not REQUIRE a title for registering a car more than 15 years old, but VT will certainly ISSUE a title on an older car for a nominal fee. I have done it myself twice in the past year. Processing the paperwork at the DMV took some time, but still relatively straightforward. I viewed it as a small price to pay to remove any confusion over title.

NY does not issue a title for vehicles that are older than 1973. For all vehicles that were produced prior to 1973 the registration card is the title and is transferrable.
My 427 ERA was registered in NY as a 1965 and I sold it to a person in Texas with the registration serving as the title and he had no problem titling it in Texas.
