In the 1985 movie Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Fred Ward’s character, Remo, is an NYPD cop who is 'killed' in an accident. The death is faked, and he is inducted into a secret Special Ops-like organization called CURE. Cure is dedicated to preserving the Constitution by working outside of it.
Remo is selected to become the enforcement wing (assassin) of CURE and instructed in an ancient Korean martial art form, Sinanju, by his Martial Arts Instructor Chiun, who is a real life Sinanju Master. Chiun is cast and superbly played by Joel Grey.
Chiun's assignment is to turn Remo into a skilled martial arts killing machine. In a very early verbal exchange between Remo and Chiun, Remo thinks Chiun is too old for the job and challenges him about being up to the job, in particular, because of his apparent age. Remo quickly gets to the point by asking Chiun how old he is.
The following is an excerpt from that exchange;
Remo: How old are you? I mean, you are really old now, aren't you?
Chiun: For an apricot, yes. For a head of lettuce, even more so. For a mountain I have not even begun in years. For a man, I am just right.
Chiun has several other exquisitely crafted interchanges with Remo. One of my favorites (there were so many it is hard to pick) is;
Remo: You know, Chiun, there are times when I really like you.
Chiun: Of course. I am Chiun!
Remo: And then there are times when I really want to kill you.
Chiun: Good! We will practice that after dinner.
I like Chiun's logic. I think for a Cobra owner, I am just right ...

I think you have to have a moderator delete a thread as they had problems long ago with people starting a thread which started a fight and then they would delete the thread.
As for adding a poll you can edit the thread and at the top of the box there is a Thread Tools icon or link. Click on that and it drops down a small menu and at the bottom is Add A Poll to the post. But this only seems to work for the first post. When you get to the edit screen click the go advance button and it should give you an option to delete the message but this doesn't seem to work at times.

PS: 39, you, maybe the mold for your Cobra hardtop, but not you personally.

Old enough, to NOT to kill myself driving the most dangerous car ever built "A Cobra"
In 1974 I had a chance to buy a 427 Street, not that I could afford it at the time anyway. If for some reason I did, I would not be writing this today, there would be one less TommyRot and a 427 Street left in the world

I didn't know! I had to look him up. According to Wikipedia;
Jack Shack was an American medical doctor, politician, and soldier. He raised and led a unit in Courtland, Alabama, called the Red Rovers or the Alabama Red Rovers to fight in the Texas Revolution. He was one of the few survivors of the Goliad massacre.
Right Jack Shack?

On the bright side, far worse mangled Cobra's have been resurrected, sometimes making two cars out of one! As for you Tom, I'm afraid, The Six Million Dollar Man was just fiction! Cheers, Dennis

One of my biggest disappointments was they never made a 2nd remo Williams movie.
At least we know, in Korea, door handles do not break

Currently 31 years old, purchased my Cobra when I was 28.
I remember seeing one for the first time as a child and stopping in my tracks to simply look at it.
From this point on, every Cobra I saw at a car show would get the same pause for me to take in the visual art of its curves and muscular stance.
When I heard that a family friend was selling his Unique, I knew it was the time to make it happen.

A mother is talking to her son, he says, "mom, when I grow up I want to be a biker!" She responds, "you can be one or the other, you can't be both!" Maybe that goes for Cobra drivers also! Cheer, Dennis
