LOL - for a thread that I tried to delete this one certainly gained traction. Some-what better traction than the average Cobra with BF Goodrich Tyres

At 70, I still do my own yardwork. It's getting harder but I can still do it. What I noticed the other day is how difficult it is becoming to wrestle myself out of a sweaty t-shirt. Houdini could get out of a straitjacket much quicker.

I used to have the whole set of books about Remo Williams and enjoyed them. I am not sure what happened to them as my Mother gave away a huge amount of my old books. As for my age lets just say I set around with some others and argued about what to call dirt.

Aah now I know who Remo Williams is thanks Google. Thanks for the reminder - it was one of my favourite series of books at the time - read them all - have found the movie and will watch it some time. Another favourite was The Executioner about a character who took on the Mafia with extreme violence - think his name was Mark or Mac Bolan???

I read a few Mac Bolan novels back in the day. I was really into guns (and cars and boats etc. etc.) when I was a kid and the author went deep into the technical details of the weapons used by Mac and his adversaries. Loved it!
Here's another one in a similar vein for you old timers - Doc Savage. I read a few of those as well.

I had forgotten about the Doc Savage books. I read all of them that I could find. I used to have a pretty large book collection but no more.
