Default Bricking?

Dan, Are you talking about a bricking? Harsh, but effective form of adjustment! Pete

Unless it has something to do with burn outs, I believe it is.

Notice the childs mother is more concerned about the noise than the cars - given that she is covering ears with her hands!

I think everyone has pretty much let this go, Creepy -

Default ahhh we restarted it.....good

Pictures can be very deceiving. That is not a baby in the buggy!! Rather that is Pat's mistress
and her midget girlfriend who came out to meet him at Quaker State. They then headed off
to do unspeakable things.... That is why Pat is always smiling and we call him LNP (little
nasty pat).

In another picture where it appears Pat's hands are off the wheel, in fact his midget girlfriend
has both hands on the wheel and is steering by voice comand. Her day job is at Ringling
Brother cirus.

Default Can't we just move on?

Creeper,
Give it up! You have made your point and you are now coming across as a sanctimonious....well you know! You must now stop! You are damaging the image of law enforcement officers everywhere by pandering to pre conceived notions of the characteristics that are shared by the worst among you. Find another cause, another thread. Please, I'm begging you!

Cool

Hey Great Asp,

Ya gotta stop posting new and improved video of burnouts - ya got creeper living up to his handle and working double overtime as a copper policing an accident, without injury or fatality, that didn't happen - man it's gettin hard to have fun with your pants on...

Actually I appreciate the video(s) and keep 'em coming if for no other reason than to drive creeper right over the top...

P.S. On closer look at Pat's "look ma no hands" burnout video I'm not so sure "his midget girlfriend has both hands on the wheel and is steering by voice comand" as Bony suggests. Looks like she has a hold of something else and Pat is simply startled which lends some credibility to creeper's argument that something unlawful may be taking place - I'm not sure what that might be but I suspect we'll hear soon...

Are you the same creeper that posted about flashing your badge to get out of speeding tickets? It was a while back but I seem to recall something about "professional courtesy". Is a crime committed by a bear if only another bear witnesses it?

I don't much care for the "unknown burnout". He may have been more dangerous than Pat, but that burnout felt "safer" than Pats because of the muffled exhaust. Who knows, he would have probably went to jail with open exhaust but we will never know.

Theres a lesson to be learned from all of this. If you want to impress at the fling, an open exhaust is a must!

Hey 2fast,

Preaching to the choir on that one. Nothing quite like confessing anothers sins to gain a little relief. Oh, I'm not dissing you my friend and thanks for your due diligence in support of what I said earlier in this thread. A "professional courtesy" is more appropriately called a license to break the law in my moral code - I engaged and received benefit in that very behavior and therefore have less right than the average person to criticize somoeone else for their behavior, legal or otherwise...

Perhaps it is just the need to measure one's own success by someone else's failure - worth considering? Yeah...

You right on the money 2fast...

Dan and Turk: Does the above- and often-mentioned "bricking" refer to the "extra-mileage camels" joke?

Default hey Searanch

well, you're right about the professional courtesy, I have given and received it before, but then again I don't write nurses, doctors, teachers, elderly, well just about anyone. If I walk up and you say"What I'd do Ossifer!!??" , well then my reply is sign here press hard you're making three copies. If you say "sorry I was speeding (or whatever)" than Its usually have a nice day. But that is just me, one who loves to see people build a car and HAVE FUN IN IT!

Right or wrong it is called discretion.

But I still love the burnout.

Now I shall step off my soapbox and go run with scissors. (SHH don't tell Creeper. )

BURN EM IF YA GOT EM

Todd

Creeper,
Re-read all the posts. No ONE said there were, "high embankments" in place. What they DID say, was that we are working on safety barriers for dowtown London next year where, with the Safety Directors blessing, and the Police Chiefs blessing, et.al., there will be burn out contest for those that are interested in "showing off."

There will be bonus points for Turk/ERA type exhausts! (Gotta get some)

Just trying to explain a litte formalities here. This IS private property. It WAS done with the owners permission and actually was requested.

The Police were being paid by QS & L restaurant (special duty) with a supervisor also on duty. (No point being made here, just more facts)

NO laws were broken...period. Did it become hazardous to your/their health? Yes it did, and it was shut down. A simple burnout under semi-controlled conditions is no more dangerous than doing it in your driveway. When it got to the point where a guy was doing a burnout the entire length of the road..that was too much.

I wish you could have been there, you would see that it was not as it appears. Ie; I was there when Pat held up his hands! It was after the burnout and he was within, just feet of coming to a complete stop.

DV -- retired Cop of 25 years, 9 months. Chief DeFective in charge of "Accident Investigation", CPD, average of 54 fatalities a year and that doesn't count the mulitple fatals. I remember every detail of every fatality in that time period.

Could it have been safer, ya probably so. Will it be next year...absolutely! Next year we get to take passangers for the burnouts! Drive smart guys!

He asked a question and I answered. I let it go. Some didn't want to.

2fast you are mistaken I did not make a post about "flashing" my badge.

DV - you are correct they didn't say high embankments on the post. That was in a private email. What was said was "It even had banks each side for most of the way.:"

I'm glad you'll be working on a fix for next year. I'd be glad to particapate under better conditions. I certainly wouldn't want to see someone grenade a clutch and pressure plate with a crowd standing so close or worse. Thanks for clarifying some of the missing points. End of story.

Even the Cart boys are doing burnout (doghnuts). Did anybody see the one that Carpentier did today? Very impressive, much better than Pats. . Now if we can get the F1 guys to do it.

If he shows up at DVSFIII, there will be a lot less attending next year than this year.
Better yet, hire additional security. We'll need it.
