We're a bit dogmatic when it comes to our favorite things. Especially when it comes to our favorite vintage cars.
Looking back through the year's Vehicle of the Week archive, there were a lot of beautiful cars to be had. Millions of dollars worth, in fact. But our favorites of the year are nearly all two-seat sports cars of exotic pedigree.
Which perhaps is as it should be. After all, a vintage Bentley might be nice, but a vintage Ferrari would be both a thing of beauty and, clearly, a thing of indulgent impracticality; you can pick up guests in a Packard or a Rolls, but you can only carry one special friend in vintage sports car (and ideally you'd only be driving yourself around, a wide grin fixed on your face).
So if our dreams came through for Christmas, one of these cars would magically appear in the drive (click on the links below to read about each of our ten favorites).

And as of a second ago, it is a near dead heat between the GT40 and the Cobra...Heeheehee...I'd take either one!

Vote often??? Now come on, I want the Cobra to win, but don't want to "cross the line" in doing it.

I think you can only vote once from the same computer. It puts a cookie on your computer when you vote. Now, if you erased your cookie file each time....... Cobra up to 31% GT40 27%.

What's the point of a fix? Is the Shelby Cobra really the car you would most want to drive/own of the ten? Not me. I ALREADY have a what amounts to a Shelby Cobra - loud, obnoxious and fast. I'd take the Ferrari 330TR as a stablemate for my unreal roadster.

I am guessing the votes are NOT for a "Shelby" Cobra as much as they are for a COBRA.ANy Cobra.
If we adjust for the double votes and the fix, it still beat everything else. I doubt the Ferrari buys abd the Porsche folks did not do what we did.
We won!!!

No way Porsche,,,,a glorified VW gets stuck in my mind. Ferrari? Well,,,,yeah, they way cool BUT way complicated and possibly to "delicate" for me. If I could only drive one ONE time and could drive it like I stole it. I want it to burn rubber and be mean and nasty!!! Hard to beat the GT-40 or Cobra for that order!
