MRMUSTANG,
You're correct, they are one heck of a trailer. Not sure I could get that one by my wife. To be honest, not sure I can afford it.
However, having said that, I'll probably be shopping one out next week. Am definitely going to keep that brand on the top of the short list...

I've got one of their open trailers.........770lbs in weight, compared to my open steel trailer which weighed in at over 1,700lbs...............If your going to go with an enclosed trailer, make it the lightest and the best you can afford either way you go....Featherlite would be another trailer company to look at............

Just looking at prices for new enclosed trailers and it appears I'm headed for a reality check...
Looks like an open trailer in my future if anything at all...

You might want to check out the EXISS line of trailers. They have a very nice open car hauler. Bed of trailer is 8'6"x17'6". 21' overall. Comes standard with two axle electric brakes. I bought one. They are the Offical Trailer of Sears Point Raceway here in Calif. (if that means anything).

I know someone in Portand,OR with an enclosed trailer that he wants to sell. it has a heater & a bead over the 5th wheel & possibly more. Anyone interested can email me & I will forward to you the persons name & Ph#. Sorry, I don't have better details but I have only seen it once & just heard that he wanted to sell it last week. It would be better if you got the details from the source.

The 20 ft aluminum Featherlite v nose was 9500 with no interior wall lining. They now produce a 16 ft square area with the 2 ft nose. I would still go with the 20 if I were doing it over.

Casleenie,
There are tons of used ones out there. Check out EBay, and race-cars.com. There are so many out there, it is amazing. This is the season the racers switch/upgrade trailers.

I have a United Expressline 24' Racer Special. I spec'ed out the trailer just the way I wanted it and am very happy with it.
I usually tow with a 31' Winnebago, which gives us a place to stay at the track. Nothing like taking the garage AND the house along with you.
The downside... 5.5 MPG average, but if you can't afford the gas you can't afford to race either.
For short trips, I pull with an F250 6 speed Powerstroke.
The trailer hardly fazes that truck.

Casaleenie, this is actually the link I wanted you to look at. Anywhere from 5-15 trailers get posted here daily. Go get 'em. Even with the holidays, you can see how active the site is.

Toy Collector,
I tried to get into the site 2x this am. I got nothing but headings at the top of page.
I contacted the people at Trailex yesterday for more info on their enclosed trailer after seeing their web site. I was impressed.

Casaleenie,
I looked around for all kind of open trailors for a while until I decided to go for a closed one. So I finally got a Trailex all aluminum trailer that takes the Cobra and an extra set of tires. It's low, about 7' and light. I tow with a Windstar(!), using 3rd and OD for cruising around 70 most of the time. And I use the trailer as an extra garage now in the winter.
Check them out. They are in Canfield OH, south west of Youngstown, an easy ride from Cleveland OH.

Terry,
The site does seem a little grumpy, I got it by reloading a few times, and also by going to the partners section and then clicking on trailers. They may be having some glitches--OR TOO MANY buying trailers
