Holy crap. Do the oil companies send you a Christmas card each year? I was expecting one from OPEC but they must've lost my address. Maybe next year.
Nice parts.

You can't make gas mileage a priority when you consider that extra kick in the butt at WOT after the secondaries open on those two fours. The smile factor is 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. There's the curb appeal to consider, too. The two fours sure look pretty. Reference http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/s...t=1&thecat=998
I have to admit that when I'm really being good, it's all I can do to squeeze 9.5 mpg from my side oiler with the dual fours atop that tunnel ram intake. It's a trade off. If it's mileage I want, out comes the grocery getter.

I get 4-5 mpg when I'm on it, or can squeeze 8-9 on a good day with the wind at my back.
Oh, and Mike, you've got way too much time or something on your hands. I see at least 2 TP intakes.

My dual quad gets mid-teens. But I'm still dialing it in, shooting for high teens, if not 20mpg. EFI is a wonderful thing.
I notice you've got a BXR manifold in the background...not exactly dual quad. Did you get the variable runner option on that one?

14.8 miles per gallon driving at high speeds. VERIFIABLE!!
Too bad someone else have that motor now. Some who thinks 50 Gallons a minute is good fuel economy!
Are you listening U-2?

Hi Jeb,
The BXR is for a customer's '88 T-Bird. I have 2 styles of runner end caps, 1 set for torque and 1 set for top end horsepower.
The manifold is fully ported (that was fun) and is going on a 331ci small block. I know it's not dual quads but I figured it would raise a few eyebrows...

You may want to double-check the machining of the injector mounts. Word is some leaked once the actual injectors were mounted in them and then basically KABOOM!
You've got a lucky set of customers.

Mid-teens mileage is NOWHERE in my future. I'm closer to 8 MPG in town... 6 when I'm getting on it (common). Might get 10 on an easy interstate drive.
Man, it's 71 degrees here today. Living in the south is great.
They sure do look nice, though!

Turk,
Please convert that into PPH (pounds per hour).
