I will unfortunately not be able to attend the Fling this year. Maybe next year. We can always dream.

Woo Hoo. Beaverun!!!. I've been wanting to check that place out. My dad said he would run the car on the track. Any requirements (roll cage, etc)? Also, considering the car will only be on the road for about a month before the fling, is it ok to not push it too hard?

Thanks,
Glenn

Way to go Stephen!

I have been looking forward to attending this gathering for the first time and now I have yet another reason to do so. It will be good to be able to drive the car at speed after having to behave for what, about 2500 miles just to get there.

Oh Yeah...I'll be there with the rest of the Crankoids. Looks like the Crank Crew will have TWO nearly identical blue 289FIAs, a Daytona Coupe (or three), the 289 DragonSnake SAI replica with twin Turbos and a host of other SB & BB Cobras.

Bony will be on track...won't he?

I will definitely be there, if I am allowed on the track.
You may not like a complete novice clogging things up,
but be thankful, 'cause it's the only reason you
won't be watching the back of my car disappear in
front of you.

1/26/03 and already 13 people from this forum are planning on running. That is more than I thought would run.
Thanks for signing in.

It looks like the Crankoids may have to fire up the grills for lunch time.
