Heaven on Earth
Tis the season for all gearheads to be in Phoenix. Just look in the want ads for classic cars. This week the want ads go from 1 or 2 collums to two full pages of cars for sale. It's a Sears catalog for everything you could ever imagine. 65 LM 250 Ferarri only $600K, Jag lightweight, Cobras', how many do you want. Unfinished kits, completed FFR's, I love this one , "this is no Kit." A Full tube chassis and an "original body" only $58K. Big blocks small blocks, Mopar Hemis, Vettes of every imaginable year, Jags, Street Rods, Vipers, one great AD. You gotta love the phone conversations that take place between the ad writters and the sellers. There is a Viper for sale complete with a "3 colon 54 re end." The auction is in full swing and Saturday, there will be 2000 hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, antiques, you name it, it will be at the Pavillions, the largest weekly cruze night in the world. Eye Candy or acres and acres.
Life is good. Work today, ahhh who needs it! I'm going to play.
