I did that three cars ago...
Fortunately she just got another horse. I'm saving up. I figure one more summer of hauling hay for her (50 miles each way; 140 bales @ approx. 70 lbs. each, loading/stacking the truck and trailer + unloading and stacking in the barn, x every six weeks) and I've earned enough credit for another vehicle

Bob,
Mr. UPS man brought me something you want from one of your favorite cars today. Your ERA will surely go up in value now.

Dave:
That wouldn't be one of those special toploaders that has a special "flip top" cover would it?
Bob has gotten too many good deals lately; to wit, the GTD-40. Maybe you should make him compete with the rest of the world and put it on Ebay. I will expect a 5% commission for coming up with the idea.

Yes indeed Snakeeyes will be one of one person to have a toploader that was in the rarest of Cobra's. I have to take care of him because I know he would take care of me.<p> Then again I could take it apart and auction off every piece seperately.

I think I am going to put that Toploader behind my 4 cyl. Neon. No more transaxle problems. Does anybody have an adapter plate to make this work??

Hell, that toploader probably weighs more than your Neon. Of course, all the weight will be down low, so at least your center of gravity will be near the ground--

Matt, I've got a couple of those myself. I think they're one of those "back-end" deals--they really don't seem terribly expensive up front, until you start thinking about tuition bills, cars, car insurance, etc. awaiting you down the line.
So let me get this straight--you are desperate for kids, but your wife wants to live a wild, no-kids, spending every night at the bar till closing time lifestyle, right? That's how it usually works

Sorry...David...you're breaking...up...
There, that's better. You said "I know Bob will pay my eminently reasonable asking price when I give him the tranny", right?
I didn't know this was Club Ebay...

That thing runs pretty damned good for a flat cam! Hell, Terry, small blocks are cheap. If that's the only thing wrong with it I think I still got a good deal.
As for the oil, yes, save me all the break-in oil you can get and maybe I'll get baptised in it. Take me to the river, etc...
The word is "obsessed".
