Club Cranky at the Fling
Well sort of at the Fling, Most of us will be at Beaverun all day Friday. If we survive the Open Track sessions we will tow down to wherever the Gasholes have set up camp and imbibe with some of their free booze.(Crankoids like Tanguery Gin, Johnny Walker Blue and any beer you got.)
Sat. AM , If we can stand up by then. We will unload racecars from trailers and start detailing for the "show" (remove rubber buildup from grill and any grass that may have accumulated on suspension parts). Do some test laps around town. (they do allow slicks and open headers I presume.)
Lunchtime, find out new location of Gashole camp and go for the free lunch. See paragraph 1 for beverages.
After lunch locate temporary road course around lake and after a few test and tune laps establish bench mark while at the same time recording FTD and FTWE( for non racers that is Fast time of day and Fast time of week end) Joe and FEz are you guys paying attention?
Sat. evening (same as Fri. evening)
Sun. AM tow home with new Kirkham raffel car.
It should be a fun weekend,
Cranky

Ho! - racer, I've been told by mrmustang that he has the winning ticket. OK, so who's got it? I was pretty sure I had it until all this muddied the water.

Cranky, boys...
Assolutely--eats and drinks! Course--we won't be able to fit in our cars afterwards, which will explain the whywithalls of waxing--you just need to stand around and burp!
Sorry--we're taking Jenny's car home with us.

Cranky,
I hate to burst your bubble, but we don't allow no stinkin' wash buckets, wax cans / bottles, or polishin' of any kind!
Ok, maybe some paper towels and some windex, but that's about it. This aint your parking lot show! Slicks and open headers are just right..but make sure you guys don't get up front of the lines or all the way back! ( In other words, hide in the packe! )
DV...ear plugs on order!
