Default looking for input from summer run participents

I know ther hasn't been as much interest here as on the other fourms but this is what we have so far.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was looking for some input from the people attending. this is wide open as to what we plan so let me know.
Here what we have so far (nothing set in stone)

Fri july 11
No formal plans, the people that come early can enjoy the town or the pool at the hotel. We will meet around 5 or 6 and go out as a group that night. I will set up a dinner if thats what everyone wants? Or we can do are own thing for dinner and set a meeting place after.

Sat july 12th
meeting at the hotel at 10am for the run (eric and I are setting up the route and scouting a place for lunch) returning to town around 2 or 3. We can make the route as long as you guys want there are stops we can make or just enjoy the countryside? The plan is to stop in the lake placid area for lunch.(There are also alot of outlet stores for any of the ladies that want to stay in town instead of going on the run.)

there are endless options for the evening.
1 I just got off the phone with the shoreline they have a dinner then a moonlight cruise with a band and bar on the boat cost $60 per couple (cash bar). The dinner is at the resturant and the cruise sets out at 9pm returning at 11pm. or a happy hr cruise 7pm to 9pm
also includes passes to king neptunes a great night spot.

2 Ill plan a dinner and a spot for everyone to go after and just have a night on the town.

Sun july 13th
around 10 am for those that can make it Meet for breakfest at the pancake house across
from the hotel. then at 11am im trying to set up a photo shoot at the top of prospect mtn for the whole group (unbleveable views). done by noon

Please let me know what you guys think and if theres anything you think we could add or would like to do. This just started from guys saying theres not enough events for us guys in the northeast so here we are.
If you have made reservations already please email me yanksgp@acmenet.net and let me know how many people you are bringing. Im trying to keep a list and total count for dinner reservations and so on (just blocked another 10 rooms )

Talking Greg..now that I have.......

...a Cobra (thanks to Ron Barsamian and my bank)...I am trying to schedule things around house reconstruction, boat launches, vacation home rebuild, etc. and a ton of other things..BUTT, I think your idea is going to fly---and, once done, become an institution. As for hotel, etc., I think I ("WE" if I can talk my better half into it) will NOT need hotel accomodations. I will provisionally offer the following:

-historical/hysterical tours/presentations at:
-Bill Morgan's antique boat works at the foot of L. George
-Sugar Loaf (?) mountain overlooking Ticonderoga
-Crown Point
-Split Rock
-Ausable Cavern
-Valcour Island
-etc.

The reasoin I offer these side trips is because I used to teach high school and adult education history courses and when working for "Titanic" Bob Ballard, we searched Champlain for the 13th gundola of Benedictr Arnold's famous fleet. Therefore, I know the area fairly well and, although you know it better, you could assign me five or so cobras-with-occupants and I could tear off and give 'em a little overview (if theyre from Pennsylvania or Virginia, etc.)

In other words--at your service. You have a brilliant idea---(it's what owning these high-interest cars is all about, in my view) and one which deserves tremendous support. I would guess that I will be about "worked out" in mid-July and can at least join you for 3-4 days of vacation.

Keep touch. (508) 564-4297

Freddie

Thumbs up Jamo

Yes me happy!
Hey, 1/14-1/18 was unmitigated bliss---even got into a cantina in Ojai, formed up a 2-car motorcade with a Pantera and blasted through the mountains overlooking Carpenteria and S/B. Car is a JOY. Just send wife, paints, mom-in-law untz dawg to Maine if you're afraid to swim in that water.
