...not so lucky with this Shamrock.

This one's in Tennesee, although why a company would not have their address on their website is beyond me....

Looks like they've been around for about, oh... 8 minutes or so.

Shelk, tell us more about this "new company"....

Default Awwww....

....you mean this is not the reconstituted "ROAD SERPENTS"?

Darn,

I was hoping they could bounce back.

Wow, nice looking roller on their website. I wish I could get the front end of my car to sit that high. Didn't they have even one completed car to take a picture of? I enjoyed the thorough technical specs given on the site as well.

I own a Shamrock Cobra, & am very pleased. I know the guys who are opening Shamrock Supersnake here in the states. The company is in Chattanooga Tennessee. Their names are John & Randy Crawford. They are importing these Rolling Chassis from a factory in South Africa. So far They have 4 cars in stock with 4 more on the way. They are just getting started. John helped me import mine from over there before he decided to be the sole distributor for Shamrock over here. I understand Shamrock has been building Cobra only kits in South Africa since 1984. My car is 11 years old, but it was not "Factory Built" like the ones they are getting in. Mine has a 351 Ford motor w/Five Speed Ford T5 Transmission. I've seen the 4 new cars they have in Chattanooga in person, and they are NICE!! The cars do not have motors or transmissions in them yet, but they do have Ford 351s w/ 5 speeds for them in stock. I think they are going to sell them as a Factory Built Rolling Chassis or Complete Turn Key Package. Johns phone # is: 423-593-8900. He is very knowledgeable & can answer any questions you have about these cars...

See, Podly is happy with his car. Everyone should not be so quick to judge.

Default Tag-team

Actually, I'd rather see John or Randy Crawford come on and introduce themselves to the community....

Tell us about Shamrock Supersnake..
...maybe do a News release about the car and the company and post it in the News forum.

(...rather than using the "shelk/podly" approach)

Thumbs down

.....

Nevermind.

Don't want to start trouble but I would like to see a different approach to advertising.

I have just purchased a John Speed Cobra, any idea of where I can find more info on the builder as I know it’s wider and longer by about 4 inches.

That's not afair comment. I built a Shamrock Cobra in the 80,s. It was a great kit back then....I'm sure it would be now
