who the hell is freddie blasie? one of the famous "flying blasie" brothers?
Jesus Christ ( he was a prophet that lived 2000 years ago), just take the heads up for what it is and get on with it!!
As I said, I LOOKED TO SEE IF THIS HAD ALREADY BEEN POSTED. IT HADN'T. SO, UNFORTUNATELY I DID. AND THE IMPORT OF THIS IS THAT THEY ARE POSSIBLY GOING TO MAKE EVERY COMPONENT OF EVERY SCRATCH BUILT, KIT, TURNKEY MINUS, BLAH BLAH BLAH MEET D.O.T. REGS.
Excaliber, youre on the money with your statement of " Any industry that starts to get to big or known to well is going to draw attention from somebody eventually".
I'm just the messenger, but I find I've been shot, stabbed, and have a set of 295X15 tire prints over my feet.
PLEASE call the poor bastard who runs your favorite Cobra production facilty TOMORROW. Post what you find......
God almighty, this is worse that a washerwoman's convention... and consider a cute little emoticon has been pasted here.

Better get 'em while they're hot boys! If you're in the market to buy, better buy now. Pretty soon they'll be making them with rubber bumpers, air bags, steel pillers down each side (in case you get hit by an SUV), and all the smog goodies under the hood. Not to mention an oversized roll bar and we'll have to wear a helmet & goggles! Good 'ol Big Brother to the rescue!

BIG IS RELATIVE
Excalibur,
Just for reference, The California DMV had assigned 256 SPCNS out of 500 as of September 30, 2002 for that year. It looks like fewer than 500 enthusiasts registered their new replicas under our famous SB100 last year.
The business is not that big.

Washerwoman: noun
1. Household cleaning device used in American homes predating the invention of mechanical means of laundering clothes.
He knows of Washerwomen but not of Freddie Blasie??
I'll bet Jamo represents Washerwomen in collective bargining.

Well it SOUNDS BIG the way it's being represented here, ha ha! Fact is, at least in Hawaii, "snake" sightings are VERY rare! How many did YOU see on the road today? I rest my case!
But if it DOES get big as in "reputation" if nothing else, someone will look. A few accidents that result in death, for instance, will draw a LOT of attention.

Anytime someone with minimum number of posts to their credit comes on line and asks a innocent (controversial) question or posts something with a lit fuse that is guaranteed to get the masses going, may I suggest we DO question their motives.
If the entire membership kept an open eye who these people are, it may be difficult for them to operate with impunity.
We have enough unrest among those who are honorable enough to post under their own name. We don't need to fall prey to those who are here for one reason and one reason only.
I have more respect for those who post WHATEVER under their real name for their beliefs than I do for those occasional visitors who don't hesitate to toss in a granade, just to watch the fireworks.
Don't give them the satisfaction. Question their motives.
If we all utilized the search function of the forum to look up their idiosynrosies (spelling, puctuation etc.) we would make it difficult for those who have less than honorable intentions to operate.

Mike,
My point exactly. I just looked at the total number of posts to his credit, and assumed he has been here a little longer.
My guess is no one can have so much to say and remain silent for so long.
Your guess is as good as mine who the pretender is.
Come to think of it, my guess is not a guess at all.

Does my car without an engine qualify as a zero emission vehicle?.. This could be a good thing.

I came here with nothing but purely honorable intent to let the members know about this - since it hadn't been posted.
Frankly, some of you need to get back on your Prozac or lithium. What a screaming hoot a few of you have proven to be.
I'm not C Shelby....I work for no one in the industry....I have NO ulterior agenda.
That said, if you read carefully, you might have picked up on a reference to the navy and a comment about intelligence. Should you deduce correctly (highly unlikely) that I'm in naval intelligence, you might be closer to the truth rather than your logic which has led you to a departure tangent to Pluto.
Some of you are fun to watch when you scurry around looking for the pea under the shell. Problem is...you created that game in your own mind. My IP address? It's XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. There's only 10 digits (0-9), so arrange them in any order pleasing to your eye.
"And the truth shall set you free". PLEASE check out all of what I've stated - tomorrow
But, Turk, go look under your bed RIGHT NOW. The boogie man may well be there.
BTW... Wanna know who I am? I'm on the other side of the mirror when you shave in the morning....and the blue flamingoes fly only at night.
"Come to think of it, my guess is not a guess at all." , Turk
Oh yes it is. You dont have a clue, but I'm no one of consequence. Thanks for the fun, boys....
But are you a chicken, Mister?
