It's funny how many people take shots at SPF without trying to look like that's what they are doing. There definitely seems to be a trend on here, but I am not sure why.
I am happy with my SPF (I did years of research before I bought) and the roush power under the hood (another company that people seem to like to take shots at on here). My.02
BTW, There are definitely difference between the SPF and the 4000 series cars. I think the SPF is actually a better looking car, but I also understand that the 4000 series is built to look closer to the originals.

Yes, in fact I went out of my way to try and hide the fact that I was taking a cheap shot at SPF cars. ...... All in good fun, of course.

The SPF has a sharp edge on the lip around the nose, whereas the ERA, Kirkham, CSX and others are more of a rounded edge. So yeah I can spot an SPF from a long ways off. Nice cars for sure, and consistent quality.

What is the price difference between similar optioned/finished new SPFs, ERAs and Kirkhams?

I went to the ERA websight and discovering the rear end assembly is about $5.5K and the pallet kit is 19,995, and no wheel or paint. My guess an ERA optioned like a spf ignoring engine and transmission would be every bit as much as a SPF roller $44K? or more.
Kirkham being aluminium would be in a seperate league I would guess starting at 70K without engine or trans.

madmaxx, please don't let the good doc, Chris (ng...), get started on that Kirkham price. Kirkham has had sales of nicely optioned Kirkhams for $50K. No paint necessary, but if you want the brushed finish, that will be an extra $8,000.
