Roscoe,

I don't have a spare either and I do carrry the fix a flat or whatever the name of that stuff I have is. I just like the jack in case I need to have a wheel up for some reason. It is easier to use the little battery powered compressor with the weight off & etc. Fortunately all of my tires are the same size. Have a great day and where could I get one of those air bags you spoke of ? We used them when I was working to move main frame pherprials about but they required a large air compressor.

Ron,
I know there is a 3ton one from England that works on the car exhaust to inflate. Do a google search or similar.

Roscoe,

Thanks for that information. I didn't know they made such things to work like that.

Ernie,

Paranoid !! Possibly. Like when I was over at the dam last Summer and the cover fell off the alternator. All three screws that held it on had came out. First time I ever saw that happen. The guy that rebuilt it said the same. The spare belt came in handy then as the old one broke. May have gotten one of the long screws caught in it. I never had any English cars but a friend had a couple and never really had a lot of trouble with them. There are also a lot of places in this are where a cell phone just will not work at all. Even the police radios won't work at my house. They always call dispatch and tell them they here and to call on the phone if they need them. I don't know why all this happens. Mountains, canyons, ore etc. etc. ???

Ron
