DV, how far are you from Dayton, Ohio?
DV,
I'm in Cincinnati on business. I flew in through Dayton. I may (and just maybe) have some extra time on Friday if I get everything I need to do finished. How far are you from the Dayton airport? If at all possible, I'd love to come out and see your shop.
Steve

Klayfish,
And it takes me 50 to 55 minutes to hit the Dayton airport! Easy to get here from there.
By all means if you find the time, come on up!
70 EB from Dayton through and past Springfield.
First London exit, exit 72, St Rt. 56 Turn left, North.
First road, about a 1/10th from the freeway, Old Columbus Rd., turn right.
First drive on the left.
If you get to the Sell Station...you passed us!

Steve,
DV's shop is 50 minutes east of the Dayton International Airport.
Hop onto I-70 EAST and follow it beyond Springfield to the London exit. As you exit the ramp, take a left which will take you under I-70 and look off to your right about a quarter of a mile for the Shell gas station sign. It's high over the trees and clearly visible. Turn right and DV's place is the ranch house just before the gas station. The driveway is lined with tall pine trees.
Be sure to have DV share some of Diane's famous chocolate chip cookies!

Thanks DV. I'd really like to try to make it out there. I'm planning on attending DVSFIII and I'd like to come out and meet you and check your place out.
I'm actually here to meet with the underwriters and claims personel for the insurance company I work for, Great American Insurance. I'm looking into the classic car portion of our business. Hopefully, I'll be gethering some good information about Cobras and insuring them. I hope to get it all done so I can come out on Friday. My flight leaves at 6:00 pm on Friday. Hopefully I'll make it out. Thanks for the directions.
Steve

Well!
American Insurance approached me last year as a possible sponsor for Fling II. Now that II is in our history, maybe they will see just how big our family is. We only allow one type sponsor for each Fling. other than Cobras of course!
Hopefully they sent a spy to II and saw what it is all about. Maybe they are still interested in our family?
Maybe you can convince someone that knows someone that knows someone, that will at least call us again?
Give em' heck fella! Hope to see you Friday.
DV...we are Family!

Thanks for that info DV. I will be meeting with ALL of the underwriters this morning, including the director, as well as with the Classic Cars marketing rep. I will see what I can find out. I've already talked a little with them about Cobras (since they asked about mine), but I'll wait to give a full report, in a seperate thread, until I'm done my meetings. I'll try to sneak in some words about DVSFIII.
Hopefully I'll make it there on Friday. Thanks again.
Steve

Still not 100% sure, I won't really find out until I get into the office tomorrow morning, but at the moment, I think I should be able to get out there tomorrow. I'm actually not coming straight from Dayton. The office I'm going to is in Blue Ash, right off of I-71, 15 miles north of Cincinnati. Does I-71 North take me to Rt. 70? So will it take me about 1 1/2 hours from Blue Ash?

This will be easy and quicker!
71 North toward Columbus to St. Rt 56, turn left. Nice ride of about 20 miles on 56. You will go right through London and still continue on 56. About 5 miles north of London you will go under St. Rt. 70. Now you pick up the original directions: First road past 70, Old COlumbus Rd., turn right, first drive on the left. That's it!
