Ever seen one of these ????
They tell me that it came on early Galaxies and Falcons.
All of the repos do not have the Ford logo stamped into it.
Any chance that someone has an extra in their parts bin ???
Thanks and cheers,
Bill Cook

I had a couple of early Falcons and I have no idea what that is.

It is a shifter boot ring. Many got discarded when "Hurst" shifters and their big, square black rubber boot replaced the stock ones.

Should have included a quarter or a dime, to show the scale of how big this ring is.

no, Bill.
all kidding aside, I had the part info on file..have seen two go on eBay in the past year. betcha you would find it at a large Ford swap meet.
A correct part for concours Galaxies, but apparently not a mandatory part for Cobras... the repros appear to be correct and acceptable.

aw shucks !!!!
Thanks for the part number and the direction.
Now for the sad part.
Several years ago (before I had the car) while at a
Shelby meet in Tulsa, I had one in my hand.
Decided that the price was too high, and I can always
find one later.
Ooops.
Cheer,
BC
