God Bless The Shuttle Crew
It was beautiful morning in Dallas and many of us were just leaving for our 1st Saturday of the month Cobra breakfest. Sunny and about 48 degrees around 8:00 am, we heard the bang and saw the trailing smoke of the shuttle passing over north Texas.
"God Bless The Crew!"

My wife and I were in our home and the house shook. We live closer to Fort Worth so the Shuttle had already past over our home. Of coarse it was 39 miles above us, but we literally felt the sonic booms. We did not know what it was, only that it had come from outside the home. So we did not "see" anything, we felt it. I believe we will all "feel" this for awhile!
Unbelievable sadness and loss. Our prayers are with the crew.

Condolences to also to their families, their colleagues and their nations whose hopes they embodied on their brave mission. A tragic loss to the whole world. The shuttle blasting off into orbit transcends all of our petty differences and is a symbol to all of mankind's collective drive to rise and to learn and to become better. Peace to all and comfort to those close to the heroic astronauts.
