Surge tank inside S/S Fuel tank
I am building a Stainless fuel tank which is quite shallow going from 7.5" at the deep end to 5" - should hold about 15gallons.
Seeking information on what design should work to stop fuel surge "Baffles or an anti- surge pot!
EFI cars require a return line, as my non EFI engine will have one also, I was thinking I should try and fit a tube that holds about 1.5Litres gas in the tank with the return going into it, and pickup of course, with some entry holes somewhere for additional fuel entry, as if the tank go low it would run dry.
One way I thought was to have two or three cylinders with one entry slots at different places on each cylinder, then to the center 1.5 qt capacity cylinder, all this to keep the fuel from escaping the central reservoir!
Anyone know of websites or info on how to build anti surge tanks?
