I finally got my clear!

Well the day has come and gone and im a happy camper.Sat morn I waited outside the spray booth like an expectant parent waiting for the arrival of a new baby.When the doctor,I mean the paint guy came out and said'Do you want to take a peak?'I almost knocked him down.Wow she was a big one,she weighed 8 quarts of duponts clear and a very nice shade of hugger orange,with a shine like I have never seen before.Wait,orange when I find out who the father is I`ll,well you know what Ill do.

All kidding aside,there has been some threads recently about gel coat vs paint.DV was getting a gel sample from a&c to show everyone the diff.I can say right now with no doubt,gel coat with clear on top is just great.The depth is just unbelievable.It looks like the body was dipped in plastic and you would think it was a foot thick.The cost savings was a huge bonus compared to some of my buddys that got builds going.No body work at all and no paint,except a stripe if you want one and clear coat if you want the killer shine.Thats just my .02 ,I hope this eases some minds if anyone were trying to decide on what way to go.
