sure, call this number : 1-800-GO2-JAIL .

don't forget to publicly post your thoughts on the net and drag in as many others as you can along the way. that way you will have something common to talk about with your cell mates.

for crying out loud, in the total cost of these cars from a home built donor kit to a metal bodied csx or kmp, the amount of taxes paid is peanuts. you can't beat the tax dollar on your go to work new pick up truck or family sedan when purchased new, so why try it now.

they are going to jail in california for that, have been for 2 yrs now as some folks got caught chiseling the tax man by under reporting their purchase price.....yep, call 1-800-GO2-JAIL.

Lana,
Bill is not kidding. Don't even try it. I know for a fact some areas are cracking down on this, especially with kit and collectible cars. Not only will you prosecuted for a felony (at least in most states), you will forfit the car. It has happened.

I know you can just walk from here and try it anyway, but I really hope you don't. It's playing with fire.

This has been discussed numerous times and there is another thread going right now about "registeration" and "insurance" issues. No doubt about it, you need to really walk the line with these cars in particular. The Cobra all ready is a "red flag" by just being what it is!

Ernie

By the way, if you think YOUR catching some "flack" in here, read the thread below posted by a lady! 8 pages and counting, it starts to get "dark" on page 3!
