...it's not insanity, it's attention to detail.
Of course, there never was a question about it... 1x4 or 2x4 is correct config for S/C.
It just would be academically interesting to know the config's as they left the factory.
and, wiring diagram... how'd you know that is exactly what I am working on this weekend...
...going over a tattered original 427 Owner's Manual, transferring the wiring diagram to a wall-sized harness layout sheet...
..let's see, in "Lucas-speak"... "N" means Brown, etc.

Speaking of Webers (and talk about looking GOOD) did any of the 3000 series cars come with them?

Evan:
BTW when are you going to change the paint on your car to an original s/c color?

Black...
Jeff...
Evan has been appropriately harrassed in the past over the color.
Although no original S/C was delivered in Black, the "Rules Committee" has given him a pass on this one, since, if you wanted it, you could have ordered one in Black back then.
In "Shelby's Wildlife", they say that Black was discontinued as a Cobra color in 1966, since they sat the longest at the dealer level.
BTW, did you know that a few late 427S/Cs left the factory painted totally metallic Gold, no stripes?
..I have never seen a replica that color.

The "Rules Committee" seriously frowns on the CD player.

The CD player is kinda like the twin paxton custom add on deal for Shel himself and Cosby. Special order kinda thing.
I made sure the CD system could be heard but not seen.
I just love cruisen to the sound of the Stones, Steppen Wolf etc.. Very 60's.
Jeff: Oh, BTW I believe Shelby's twin paxton SC is black.
Ron: Thanks for the back up.
