A Cell Phone. For that " Yes Darlin' I took the Cobra out for spin to charge the battery ( or circulate the oil, or warm-up the tires, or any excuse you can think of to take a ride in your Cobra), call.

All Good Suggestions,
Living with my cars over the last years...The Heater. Especially when I take my wife for any kind of a long ride that extends into the cool of the evening or starts in the chill of the morning.

Although I am still paying, the best Cobra accessory I have is my wife!
(Now that I have openly kissed some serious butt, the other best accessory is the 4 post Eagle lift in my garage!)

Best accessory I bought for my cobra???
A "heated vest", from a motorcylce shop.
This plugs into the cig lighter and keeps you nice & warm.
Came in real handy last March when I drove from Topeka to Kansas City for a St. Pat day parade. It was only 27 degrees out when I left, & didn't get much warmer.
The vest in combo with the heater kept me from freezing to death.
Of course, I did have to wear my helmet while on the highway to keep my ears from just falling off.

Besides all of the obvious like the Fire systems...a cup holder for the cobra. I found this cheapo plastic thing at Wal-Mart and it adjusts to hold various size cups and bottles. It mounted to the top of the tunnel with a screw and it can be removed when you don't need it. I know it's wierd but if you drive a cobra on long trips I'm sure you'll know what I mean.
I still keep my eye out for a cup holder that was made for a short time that worked like a gyro. You could set you coffee on top of it and no matter which way you turned the cup would stay level. ..darndest thing I ever saw for a cup holder. If any of you remember this or know where I can get one let me know.
Hersh

Hersh-
I know exactly what you're talking about, but I haven't seen one in a few years. If I come across one, I'll let you know.

Marine supply houses carry the gimbeled(sp) cup holders... Works great on a turn but you hit a bump and you're wearing it... A waste of good beer during a road race...

casaleenie,
I know that you are beatable in a road race if you have time to both "drink" and drive. Bumps are why drinks have anti-spill tops on them.

For those of you who think Hersh was serious about the cup holder thingy, he's got a garage behind his house which most of us would gladly live in if we didn't have to answer to spouses. I've patronized professional garages which were smaller and had less equipment than Hersh's. Nice try, Hersh.

Hey ! Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. Chappy, you know the one I am refering to, I think they must have been one of them "As seen on TV" deals.
Tom...That looks promising. I'm gonna check it out.
Carrol... Never leave the house without the spill top..
Chpper.. I like it that way so that all my friends have a place to work on their car too. That way I don't have to buy beer cause most times them buddys keep the fridge full.
Hersh

Carroll,
Of course I'm beatable in a road race. Hell, I'm beatable in any kind of race... I was thinking off reducing the amount of HP in the car just so I wouldn't scare myself.... Casaleenie aka the Cobra Wimp.
