SPF 1591 is in Ohio
SPF 1591 just arrived in Ohio, here's a pic from Bill at Dynamic.
It's not quite as colorful as Carroll's SPF 1559, but she'll do. I'm flying to Ross this Saturday to check everything out.
Based on the earlier post on cracking spinners....that will be my first question on Saturday.
Kind of strange, I ordered quickjacks but it showed up with bumpers we'll need to fix that.

Chuck,
You car looks great. Mine #1601 was placed on the boat Friday a week ago. I bet you're excited. I know I am. I ordered mine with full bumpers. Hope it doesn't show up with quick jacks!
Take it easy,
John

Chuck, Make sure the gas cap on your car vents. I had a problem w/mine and the car would starve for fuel when driven hard. Thought it was carb or ign.. Better it was a gas cap rather than a carb or ignition.

I called Dynamic a few weeks ago, looking for bumpers. They told me they order their cars with bumpers, then take them off if the customer doesn't want them. Easier for Dynamic to get them that way than ordering the bumpers alone from SPF.

Thanks guys for the comments and info. You bet I'm excited Bannon, It's 4:00 AM and I'm on CC. Ever since my car shipped, I've been getting only about 5 hours of sleep a night

I like the looks of your car. It is more classic than mine -- the all America racing colors. Looks like you are having Eric do your engine. If so, a great choice. Are you planning on driving it back home or having it shipped? If you are planning on driving, I propose that you plan an extra day or two to stay in Ross and "test" drive you car. Eric will make adjustments on the engine, etc. and Dynamic will correct other issues. Then you can feel confident driving home.

nice car chuck. you're gonna love your perf. eng. 351w too. eric tends to be conservative with his dyno guarantees. my motor was 'guaranteed' to make 450hp. it dyno'd at 480hp! great motor, nice installation. betcha can't wait!

Carroll, You're right, Eric is building my motor, but I'm going to do the installation myself. A colleague of mine at the office is a real Ford guy, His pride and joy is a 68 GT500KR with 29k original miles. He's loaning me the lift and tilter as well as his expertise.
I'll still be real nervous when the Windsor is dangling over the paint!!!
John H,
I chose the "wimpy" cam for my motor, targeted at 430hp. I hoping to have a motor where I can lurk around at low rpm's in the bushes in search of my next meal....of course I may have some rice as an appetizer.
Doug,
Your right, driving school is a must. I've got a lot of miles in on crotch rockets ('77 KZ1000, 10.42sec, 155mph (been there) top speed), but my car experience is limited to a '71 Mach1 351C show car.
I like the Racing Adventures concept so I will probably look into that.
