mini lites

hey guys
does anyone know where i could find a set of the mini lites that were sold by shell valley back in the 90's. they were called 'superlites' in their adds. i need two 15x7 with the silver spokes. apparently the company that used to make them went out of business several years ago. any help would be greatly appraciated.

When I began my Shell Valley project in '93, I bought their wheels. They do indeed resemble Minilites, though mine have black spokes. I seem to recall that the manufacturer's name on the boxes was "SMC", if that's any clue.

hey guys
checked out both sites with out much success. the minilitewheels.com has only 8 spoke wheels and the ones i have are 10 spoke. the other site is out of country and might be expensive to purchase. i'd like to find a good used set, and if necessary i could paint the centers to match the ones i have. if anyone has any other ideas please post.

I have an early 90's Shell Valley build that has the style you describe, but with eight spokes. Looking through some old Shell Valley brochures, I found a reference to both. No help here with finding a current source, but I'll drop you an e-mail with whatever information I have.

ok guys
i found out that there was a place in florida that used to be a dealer for among other things, the mini lite wheel i am looking for. it was called 'select sales' run my an ian mckenzie. with my limited computer knowledge i wasn't able to locate either. if anyone can help i would appreciate it.
