Thumbs up Just returned from Dynamic and PE

I just retuned from my trip to Dynamic Motorsports and Performance Engineering.

First, I went to PE to take a look at my 351W motor for SP1591. I was immensely satisfied with the results. Eric had her on the dyno and made a power run for me. She peaked at 450.0 hp @ 5800 rpm and 432 ft-lb @ 4900 rpm. The average torque from 3000 to 6000 rpm was 409 ft-lb. She idles with a very slight lump, in fact it's hard to even call it a lump. I've never actually witnessed a gross hp dyno run before, wow! At 6000 rpm it sounds like a frieght train! Here's a pic.

Later I went over to Dynamic to take another look at SP1591. Mark had the wheels on and was planning on starting the prep work. Mark and I spent about 3 hours going over a lots of details on the install. With Mark's and Eirc's help I'm very confident my install will turn out perfectly. Delivery is scheduled for around 3/19.

I can't tell you enough how cordial and friendly everyone at Dynamic and PE are. They treat their customers like family. If you are considering an SPF, get in touch with these guys, you will not be disappointed.

Chuck,

Congratulations! I got 1421 from Dynamic, and had the motor done by Eric at PE. You made good choices. I have been very happy with my car, motor and service. Eric does a fantastic job on the motor and install. You are lucky to be close enough (unless you had to travel) to see your car coming together. 3/19 seems like a long time. You will love it when you get it though. I can't wait to drive mine again. Looks like it might get warm enough to get her out in a couple weeks if I'm lucky.

I'll add my voice to the chorus. SPF 1255 is a Dynamic/PE car and it is great. After 3-4 weeks under a cover with lots of snow and ice on the ground, she started on the first crank and is happy to be back on the road. Now with bumpers! Silver ceramic on the side pipes is next. Planning on Jet-Hot - any comments?

Sparks,

I snapped a couple of pics of some massive chunks of aluminum in the assembly room while I was there....are they yours? Check my gallery...

Sparks,
Eric is working on a Dart 427? I would like to see the results when he finishes.

Traindriver,

You have made good choices with Dynamic and PE. In a few months you may have roads that you can drive on safely.

Default I now officially hate winter

No doubt Carroll....it about 5 degrees out, something like 30 degrees below normal. To make it more painful..it was 65 and perfect in Ross on Saturday....

Saw a funny scene while I was there. Some kid was gunning his Firebird around the back lot. Lots of noise, not much motion. He thought he was just too cool...if he only could hear the comments from the onlookers at Dynamic.

traindriver,

I know how you feel. A few days ago we had ten inches of snow. It is suppose to get down below 10 degrees tonight. Many of the streets have icy spots. No place for a Cobra with all its torque.

Trainy,

Congrats on the car and motor!

My 418 is a PE motor, strong as an ox!
