How was your journey home? I take it all went well.
As for the paint...$8500 at the time. You don't mind when minor paint issues happen over time, but not in the first 15 minutes you run the car. It amazing I still have all that hair!!!

Getting back to the 2XPAX Cobra, I don't care for the garbage can lid hood. The repop looks much better with the standard hood scoop.
The color on the body isn't bad but the interior in blue sucks. IMHO, blue interior sucks on any car. About $2K turns it black again, so no big deal.
The 2XPAX Cobra only brought $69K on eBay. But eBay does not reflect the going rate fo Cobras anyhow. I've seen ridiculous junk sold for more than the GNP of some small countries. I really wish someone pays the asking price for this one. It's a nice one.

OK, what were we talking about, checking gas tanks with matches???
My opinion is they should be NOS and BB (big burners).

Actually,,,while the original hood on the original car is in fact "the mother of all hoods" wether it looks good or bad is not as important as the "fact" that it is what it is, "original".
BUT, can you imagine the having something like that on YOUR replica? Ha ha, man would you take some BB (big burner) heat over that!

Ernie and Bob,
You guys live in a warm climate. What's this obsession with starting fires ???
By the way, the subject car has 720-hp, but the owner does not care for laying rubber. What was he thinking when he put that monster in his car ???
Tom
