For what it had, 22K was probably a bit of a bargain. Our pricing on both of the 289s (FIA and Hybrid) is right about the same as the 427 at every level. The big ticket item is the engine, and we don't supply them.

I heard a great term used in the big truck industry: "Glider" It's a turnkey without engine or transmission. Anybody heard it used in relation to our industry?

Actually, AC Cars referred to the Mk III's they exported via David Wagner back in '95 and '96 as "gliders". They were shipped for the most part complete, less engine, trans and upholstery.

The term may go back even further in the UK.
