John, I plan to be there on April 5, possibly with a friend. Everybody, that's my blue Cobra with the red stripes on the right fender. Fourth row down, second picture from the left. I dont know which blue that is........Guardsman Blue? Anybody know for sure?

John,
Looks like I might be able to make this one WITH the Cobra. Last time I brought friends and we had to bring the Jag-you-RRR. You guys make the best pictures of my car. Thank you!

Iffffffy at best.
I had the car up on the high banks at Cal Speedway last weekend and rattled the bottom end. IF I get it back together - I will be there for sure. IF not - I may be there in my Jeep... which I will park in the rear.

gonna miss it again
John,
Thanks for the reminder. Unfortunately I will be out of town on vacation. I am sure you will manage without me as you all have for quite some time. If I could just quit my job etc I would probably make more of these.
take care and have a good one

Sandwich Factory Lunch
Looking forward to it John!
Wouldn't miss it for the world. Hopefully the weather will continue the way it was this weekend. Any ideas on a cruise for that day?

I can't believe it. Two meetings in a row for Spotter Joe?
What next? A Ford winning the Winston Cup Title? Anything is possible now.

Looks like its going to be a big group.
14 Cobras confirmed so far and its only Monday.
Bob - think of something - I've been sick for about three weeks.
If I'm not better, I won't go on a cruise but, obviously I'll be there.

Attorney
Sorry to change topic but this is important. I have a little labor issue problem and I would like to know if anyone is an attorney? Or could anyone recommend an attorney that could give me a consultation?
Now, COBRA related. I pulled the bottom end down tonight and found that number one rod bearing had starved. I detected a small knock and shut it down at Cal Speedway. I can just re-bearing it as the crank is perfect but I am having an oil pan made and will not get it until next week. So I will be there for lunch in my Jeep.
FYI, this may sound corny but I found a Mexican guy on the internet that makes racing oil pans and he is in LA. So today I went to look at his handy work and was very impressed - in fact I contracted him to build me a pan. He specializes in Cobra racing replica pans at very reasonable prices. I am having a copy of the Shelby 427 road racing pan made - I can't wait to get it. I will now have to start showing people the UNDER side of the car as well. Here is his info in case you are interested, maybe it would be a good idea to put this contact in your reference book for later - you never know!

Hope this doesn't ruin things but it looks Like rain this saturday!
I really need to make it out one of these days! Unfortunately I have a yard full of projects due to the last rain we had! Had a retaining wall come down & a tree that was threatening to come down on the house. My yard is looking a little like Bagdad right now.

Guys,
Looking forward to seeing all of you. Wish I could say I'll be there with the car but the engine is now sitting on my garage floor.

WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE WOULD BE INTERESTED IN TAKING A CRUISE UP TO THE "COLD SPRINGS TAVERN" ON 154 ON THE WAY TO SOLVANG. IF THE WEATHER IS GOOD IT SHOULD BE A GREAT DRIVE. I REALIZE THAT IT MAY BE A BIT FAR FOR THE FOLKS COMING FROM THE VALLEY AND BEYOND. IF SO, HAVEN'T GOT MUCH TIME BEHIND THE WHEEL AND AM UP FOR A CRUISE ANYWHERE.
LET ME KNOW.
COBRA BOB FROM VENTURA!
