Smile 1964 427 Cobra?
Does anyone know if Shelby made his first 427 roadster in late 1964? A friend told me that he did and I want to know the truth. Any takers? Jake

Prototyping was done during 1964. In the fall of 1964 they built the first production proto CSX3002.
The first batch of real-live-for-sale 427 cars (CSX3003-3007) went into production January 1965.
The first car was sold in March 1965.
