Best place to mount chromed Halon fir extinguisher
I've viewed a bunch of photos, looking for a practical mounting-area for a chromed fire extinguisher. Some I saw were positioned horizontally across the front of the engine(Butler)/tranny hump, just under the dash and others were vertically between the seat backs. I can see advantages and disadvantages to both, but no other practical or comfortable place seems possible other than these two. I figured certain angles of sun might make the forward position a nuisance and also wondered about the aft position and "elbow room". I know lots of you guys have views and considerations (not to mention tricks) wh/ might help me decide. Meanwhile I'm just sitting out there (engine off) placing the thing here...no here...no maybe here...(hope the neighbors don't notice!) Any help will be appreciated. Tanks.
