Hey Pat,

That is the great thing about America, you don't want to, you don't have to.

Bill S.

PS: By the way, what charities do you support..............

Bill-

You asked - people responded - or didn't.....let it go.

As to what charities I support? Do you need to know this? I don't think you do - in fact I know you don't!

How often do you and your wife make love?

Get it?

Pat

Hey! Third grade was the best three years of my life, excepting the five years of high school!

Pat,

We can go back and forth playing "tit for tat", however, this would be far too counter productive for my goal of getting people off their respective behinds. So, I'll leave you this evening with this question. "Why bother to knock someone else for trying to do some good in this world". Unless you have known someone with advanced MS, you just would not , nor could not understand....To see a person slowy disintegrate (literally), and not be able to do anything about it, is a very frustrating feeling.....So, if I have to resort to such tactics as I have this year, then I will continue to do so, for nothing else, at the very least, will do...........................

Ernie,

I understood that the checks will be presented to Brent at the Fling...therefore you'll have an little "cushion" in your checking balance for a few months!

Bill - Why don't you post a picture of someone with MS and really try and make everyone feel sorry and guilty for not donating ?? Pat is not knocking your for trying to do something good, he's just pointing out (as was I) that if people don't want to donate then you should accept that and move on. Being assertive pushy and forceful about making charitable donations is counterproductive to the whole idea behind contributing to a worthy cause, and furthermore, hurts the cause you are trying to promote (plus it makes you look like a jerk).

Give it a rest already man...

Bill, after your rather crude posts I am not sure that you are someone I would send money too. I have a friend that may have MS, but he needs more tests to know for sure. I think I will send the money directly to a local MS charity or to him directly. My grandfather had Alzheimers, my brother-in-law's mother has Parkinsons, both of my dad's parents had colon cancer (both are doing well today) both my grandmothers are type II diabetic, dad is type I, two of my dad's older brothers had prostate cancer and I can go on. Some of us just have other priorities. Sorry.

Boy, tough crowd in this room........

Most (but not all) of the time, whenever I post about the walk for MS, no matter how it seems, was done tongue in cheek (the thread marked "are all Cobra owners cheap bastards" started out that way.....However, when ever provoked, I will speak my mind. I do not pull punches, nor do I pretend to be someone I am not, or play the yes man. Either you like my style, or you don't. In the mean time, I'll continue to get donations from those who care, and ridicule from those that don't (or a little of both mixed in actually)........All of you reading this thread know where I stand.............

Sincerely,

Bill S.

PS: Those that have been here the longest know my style, those who have joined in the last year or so don't quite know what to make of me.........Guess we all have to live and learn............
