Ace Motor Company is primarily in business to rent high mileage, usually over 100k, econ-o-boxes on long term contracts.
Several years ago I had to replace my windshield, for the third time, and found that Ace had bought most of the "stock" from Butler.
When I went to pick up my windshield, I looked over his operation and discussed what he had in mind for a Cobra replica.
He said that he had bought the rights to the Butler chassis and was in the process of assembling one chassis.
He did have the old LAExotics body molds, including a hard top, and was going to adapt that body to his chassis.
He took a picture of my LAE, and used it on his advertisement, so I passsed out some of his literature and business cards at car shows for a couple years.
He said he was going to "take it slow" and try to produce a kit.
I never heard from him after my initial visit, and I have not had the opportunity to stop by.
